Is puppetry allowed in Islam? Specifically in Morocco.?

I know there are restrictions on graven images, paintings… etc. what about puppet shows… shadow puppet shows? I may be traveling to Morocco with a shadow puppet show, would that be taboo?

In islam i would wager to say they are allowed for educational purpose and maybe some entertainment. You should check with local culture and customs before starting anything since cultures and customs vary country to country, even in muslim lands. also depends on what theme you pick for your show, try to stay away from religion and politics as a general rule, regardless what country or faith of groups you go to.
