Lesson on the Three Little Pigs?

I am student teaching right now and about to do a lesson on the Three Little Pigs. My cooperating teacher always reads a story to the children, and then does an arts and crafts activity with them that goes along with the story. I decided that my activity would be to have the children color a template of a house in, and then glue red squares to the house to make it look like bricks. Also, the children will be coloring in the head of a pig, and then gluing the head to a popsicle stick, so it’s like a puppet.
