Is the position of President of the U.S. just that of a puppet king?
A figurehead. What power can he really have if the men that have been fixtures in Washington for decades are the ones that really run the show behind the curtains? Behind closed doors where the real decisions are made?
Or does The President have the power to just truly decide on his own? He probably can, but he’d have to step on a lot of powerful toes, making them mad. How does he get around this? They might even let him win a few battles, but they might not let him forget it.
How does this work? Does he have real power to change things or not?
Good question. The time it takes to answer that for me will cause the “web page expired” to appear. I am a lot like Obama. Most questions are not just a yes/no answer. I will put this question on my watchlist and when I have more time I will answer it.
